Tonight I am making CL's Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs. I have made this before, but somehow it slipped my mind that you are supposed to marinate the chicken for an hour before cooking. I realized this at 7am, when I was already 10 minutes late leaving the house. I won't have time when I come home to do the marinating and then the baking for 40 minutes. The recipe calls for marinating for one hour and then putting the chicken in the oven with the marinade poured over it. Will I drastically sacrifice the flavor and quality of this recipe if I just go straight to the oven?
