I just entered a recipe into my CookPac and didn't realize until I had finished that I had entered a meat dish under appetisers. I can't seem to find any place on the tool bar that will let me move it to the proper category. Please don't tell me I have to re-type the whole thing?

Do you have MasterCook or CL CookWare software? I can help you if you have CookWare....

Go to the recipe you want moved. Don't open it up, just click on it so it's highlighted. At the top of the screen, click on "Recipe" (right between "File" and "Help"). Choose the last option under that little menu - "Recipe Categories". This will open a box. On the left you will see all the categories, and on the right you will see the categories where that recipe is filed now. Go through the left column and choose the category you want the recipe to go to, and then click the "move" button in the middle. It should pop right over. You can also take that "appetizers" category (click on it to highlight it), and then "move" it back over to the left side so the recipe won't appear in the appetizers section anymore. You can have a recipe appear in as many categories as you want, for example, when I try a recipe and I like it a lot, I'll also put it in the "Favorites" category, as well as leaving the recipe in its original category. Does that make sense? I hope this helps you - let me know if you have any more questions!
