Cangoss - please also add me to your mailing list. My e-mail address is robmiguy@hotmail.com. I just recently moved to A2 and particularly enjoy ethnic cooking. I was wondering however if anybody in the group also shared my interest in cooking with natural foods (e.g. quinoa, carob, etc.) Out of health concerns and due to food allergies, I have been attempting to integrate these foods into my diet but the results of which have not always been palatable. Perhaps someone more experienced than I knows how to work with these foods.

I forgot about checking this thread for a while - hope you all didn't think you were being ignored! We have a Yahoo e-mail group, but their service is down right now. I will add all of you when it comes back up. The group just met last Saturday, though I missed it and I'm not sure what was decided about a next meeting, but we'll let you know. And I'm not aware of anyone who's especially interested in natural cooking, but you never know...

SGB - welcome to the boards. I am not from Ann Arbor, so I hope you won't mind me butting in. But as someone who's been a supper club for over 3 years (in Chicago) and loving every minute of it, I want everyone who wants to be in a supper club to find one!

So I would like to suggest that you send the people who have already posted an e-mail directly. Since the last post to this thread was back in 2002, it's not likely that anyone is going to come back and read this thread. And I don't want you to miss out on what's probably a wonderful group!

I'm glad though that you found the search button and found the old Ann Arbor thread. It's a great place to start. If for some reason you find out that the group never materialized, or that they don't have room for another member or something, then I would start a whole new post for those new people who might also be looking to start a club in your area.

Good luck and check out the rest of the boards (Great Food, Other Stuff, etc.) too - they're so much fun.
