Question for CL staff

This newest issue of our "Best of" series will be available at your local newsstand starting mid-October. While no definite decisions have been made, there is a possibility that this publication will be used a renewal premium sometime in 2001. To have it in time to help you through the busy holiday season, you'll have to buy it now because once it's off the shelf, it doesn't come back. Whether or not you decide to wait, I hope you enjoy the issue!!

Hope that if you use it for a renewal premium that you consider it for those of us who pay for their subscriptions for years in advance...I know mine doesn't expire until well into 2001...

Ditto, sneezles. I've been subscribing for about 10 years, always renewing for 2 more years, well in advance. I think this would be a nice bonus for us faithful subscribers. Other magazines offer special issues from time to time. Why not CL?

I'm with both of you - I've been a loyal subcriber for almost 10 years, and have been giving countless gift subscriptions for years too - I've never ONCE received a "bonus" of any sort from CL for my renewals or gifts....(not exactly complaining, mind you), but it would be nice to be "rewarded" somehow for our loyalty? I dunno....not like I'm going to cancel my subscription or anything (Heaven forbid! What would I do with myself without each month's new issue full of new recipes just waiting to be tried???!!)

Will subscribers automatically receive the special issue called "Best of Cooking Light: Make It Ahead"? Or do we need to purchase it at newstands?

I received a special issue last year, but that might have been a premium for renewing my subscription. Don't want to miss it, but don't want to buy it twice, either.
