Evidently, something was amiss. I read all the posts about the Psycho Chicken and was all pumped about it, so I made it for dinner tonight. As promised, the house smelled fab (I'm a big thyme fan, as well as malt vinegar)...but it just didn't taste right. I think I may have used too much thyme, which I didn't think was possible. However, my meal was saved by the mashed potato casserole with cream cheese and sour cream that was posted (thank you!) and the fresh green beans that I steamed (ya just can't go wrong with fresh veggies). :cool:
