Its different from coconut milk but not too hard to find. Try a liquor store if the grocery doesn't have it.
The only reason I know this is because I love a good pina colada now and then. Cream of Coconut is the stuff that makes coladas so rich, creamy, and full of calories!
Hope that helps a little bit!

the Cream of Coconut brand that is the most
popular is called Coco Lopez, it comes in a can, you have to shake it till you hear inside the can the big blob at the bottom come loose. You can find it in the grocer where you would find the tonic water, drink mixes etc.
The Coconut milk is unsweetened, usually used in thai cooking, It is much smoother and you can find that in the Grocer section where you find all the Ethnic/Oriental foods

A trick for warming it in the can is to put it in a container of warm water and let sit for about 5/10 minutes.

You can get Coco Lopez or Coco Goya cream of coconut. Cream of cocunut is made from juice of the coconut sugar & preservatives. At times if your coconut cream is thick or in a blob keep stirring before using as it should flow. Also keep refrigerated (in a glass container). I have warm it slightly in the microwave to liquify it.
