I'm planning on making this cake to take to MIL's for Thanksgiving weekend. Just wondering if anyone has made it yet. It sounds easy and absolutely wonderful. I plan to use fresh sweet potatoes, rather than canned (yuck! I'm a bit surprised that CL would recommend canned.)
