How many 8 oz cups can you get out of a standard bottle of wine? I know someone out there must know...

Can't say for sure, but I generally get 4-4 glasses of wine per bottle. I'm guessing each wine glass is 4 oz.

I'd say 2 8-oz. cups.

Easy way to tell is, if you have a pyrex measuring cup, they have ounces noted on one side.

May I ask why you need to know? I'm just curious about odd things like this..........

Many bottles of wine are 750 ml, which is approx. 3 cups.

I am making a Christmas Punch for a party, and it calls for 2 cups of white wine...

3 cups is correct. One cup = 250 ml, so 750 ml (most wine bottles) = 3 cups.

There are five 5-oz. glasses in a bottle of wine, so with 25 ounces, that should give you a bit more than 3 cups.
