No more CL recipes for me....

my subscription ran out (Nov was my last issue), and i doubt I'll be able to renew it for another yr, with $ being a little tight.

So i wont get to post much about any recipes here, cause i wont even know what they are! :(

oh well, maybe if I find some $ on the ground, I'll renew it! LOL!

Have you got a friend who subscribes? Sometimes CL offers subscribers "gift subscriptions" for their friends at low prices (I think $10). Just a thought. I agree the subscription price is a little bit steep.

Besides on the boards, you can also get a selection of each month's recipes on the main site, both on the home page and under 'Food'. You probably already know this, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. That way you wouldn't suffer from full CL withdrawal! ;)

Oh, I do know what you mean about money being tight! Definitely keep lurking and read the posts about the current issues -- folks often post recipes for people who haven't gotten their issues yet.

And don't forget about your local library! Mine carries CL.

Yes, I was going to suggest the library too. Also, speaking of a friend, maybe you could split the subscription with someone??? Do stick around b/c you can get a lot of recipes here and in the CL search!
