To make a really long story short, I need info. on where to find a large scrapbook that I can have the cover with a title. Yes, of course, before XMas. I was only just made aware of this request and I have spent way too much time searching for naught! Any help you can give me will be MOST appreciated!! TIA

Susan,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the cover... but I buy most of my scrapbooking supplies at A.C. Moore. An online option might be Creative Memories.com. Good luck. Martha

I use Creative Memories, if you go to the website ref'd in the previous post you'll be able to find a local consultant. An online source that I use with good selection, very fast service and I think they're having free shipping right now, is www.dmarie.com. Good luck! sally

Creative Memories has great quality albums. You pay more, but they are worth it, compared to some I have seen at AC Moore. There are some Scrapbook stores out there too, nothing but scrapbook things, but I'm not sure where you are.

Another source is www.scrapbooking.com

GOOD LUCK!

Check your local yellow pages for scrapbook supplies. I just recently discovered there are 3 scrapbook stores in my area. I used to buy all my stuff from Creative Memories, but now that I've discovered these stores, I go there first since I usually don't want to wait for something to arrive by mail. I think most of the materials are pretty standard too. I noticed that these scrapbook supply stores carry the same things as Creative Memories, and in some cases have a bigger selection.

Good luck!

I'm rather new to scrapbooking, but you could check out the bulletin board at creatingkeepsakes.com The members there might be able to help you out!

Most of the quality scrapbook albums I've come across are covered in a fabric which might be difficult to adhere a title to the cover. Are you a sewer? It would probably be easiest to make your own cover and sew a title on the cover? This close to Christmas I'm sure you want to sew a quick cover ;) Of course, a nice higher end scapbooking store would be your best resource.

Again, the creatingkeepsakes.com website has an easy to use store locator for reference.

Good luck!

But I still am coming up short (yes in height, also). My SIL insisted that my neice wants (she doesn't know it) a labelled cover on her scrapbook. I checked the phonebook and websites you gave me and still come up short. Maybe a place with a bridal registry or photography studio. Back to the phonebook I go. Spending way too much time on this gift that my SIL wants. Ahh, the holidays!! Thanks again, if you come up with any more ideas, please let me know!!

Do you mean an album where you can have a title you choose printed on the cover? If so, check out www.exposuresonline.com. I don't scrapbook so don't have any idea how these compare to other products like Creative Memories, but I have ordered other items from here and been happy with the quality.

Thank you Thank you!! I had trouble ordering online, I think I got stuck in a loop, but I will call in my order today. Even though the order might take 3 weeks, DH will download a picture and we'll put it in an envelope for her to open!! Hurray, one less stresser out of the way, thanks again to my GREAT BB FRIENDS!!

Glad I could help. It is hard when someone tells you exactly what you are supposed to buy, but not how or where to get it!! Hope your niece (or at least your SIL ;) ) likes it.
