Has anyone made the Potato Fougass?

I think this was in the December 2001 issue. I love potato breads, but have never been brave enough to attempt one on my own. I haven't seen any reviews....has anyone made this?

Haven't tried it yet, but I intend to remedy that this weekend.

It's interesting... my father's family immigrated from northern Italy in the early 1900's, and he often made his grandmother's recipe for "potato figassa". Since all of his grandmother's recipes were childhood memories for him, I just figured "figassa" was a chid's translation of "focaccia" (and "pasta fazool; pasta fajiole. Not sure what "toothlach" was). Now that I've seen Cooking Light's recipe for Potato Fougasse (and I know how close to France my father's ancestors lived), I'm not quite so sure. :)

Now that I've rambled on... I promise to let you all know how it turns out.

If you're interested, MS is supposed to be making fougasse on her show today. Thought I'd watch to see just how it should be done-----;)
