I made this tonight for dinner. I was a bit worried since reading about so many problems with the sauce not thickening properly. Well I'm not sure what I did differently, but I did not let dracula win today. My sauce thickened beautifully within the 10 min. the recipe called for, and it turned out delicious. The only changes I made were minor. I used 5 3/4c. milk (not 6c.) since this was all I had left, and I added some extra spices to the sausage mix including some crushed red pepper flakes. Even my 14 month old ate it! Next time I might try adding mushrooms to jazz it up more.
