Marcie, you are the diva of favorites...what a great list...I copied the entire list to keep as a reference. Thanks to all the great favorite items...you folks are great!

Lanie, I originally posted a topic on 10/5 asking for peoples favorites...it is entitled "Favorites of All Time". Maricie's list is at the end of page 2.

Glad you liked our favorites list. I created it after realizing how many wonderful meals we've had that we never repeated. Now when I ask my husband what he wants for dinner this week, he always answers, "Anything from the list." Not a very inspiring answer when I'm in the mood to try something new, but at least get to eat our favorite things more often.
PS - someone requested that I post the Ginger Chicken recipe from '96. My CD-ROM isn't working at the moment. Could someone please pull it in from MasterCook? Thanks!

Here's the Ginger Chicken recipe:

Ginger Chicken
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/3 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons green onions -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh ginger -- grated
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon five spice powder
4 cloves garlic -- minced
1 pound boned and skinned chicken breasts -- cut in 1/2" slices
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
4 cups cooked rice
1. Combine first 12 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes. Drain chicken, reserving marinade.
2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; saute 5 minutes. Add reserved marinade; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
Yield: 4 servings
