Granulated vs. Powder

I went to Costco last night and bought a huge container of granulated garlic, thinking that I was buying garlic powder. Duh! I have never used granulated garlic or onion, and was wondering-is it a cross between garlic salt & garlic powder? If so/not, if I needed 1 t. of garlic powder, or 1 t. garlic salt-does anyone know how much of the granulated to use as a sub.? I

Zinnia, I use the granulated garlic all the time. It doesn't have any salt in it, and it's exactly like garlic powder except for the texture. I use it in like amounts when a recipe calls for garlic powder...
