Aaron Brown fans?

Sorry- I posted this on the FOOD board and it really belongs here

Anybody out there an Aaron Brown fan? I call him "my man" everynight at 9 p.m. CT / 10 p.m. ET. Of course, my DH thinks I'm slightly nuts. He (Aaron) is such a refreshing change from all those politically correct newspeople, he says what he thinks. Any other fans?

Glad to see this thread on Aaron Brown...we thinks he's the best!! Did you read the article in People mag about him? When my Aussie hubbie sees him on CNN he'll yell "Your mates on!"...it cracks me up...I don't get to see his nightly news show regularly as I work till 11 PM...but catch it on my days off.

I enjoy his style also. Share some bio, I didn't see the People mag. article. He's refreshing, also like Jeff Greenfield.

Sort of...Aaron was a reporter and anchor on KING and KIRO stations in Seattle for many years, until he left in the early 90s for NYC and ABC's World News Tonight. He was my family's favorite news guy, so I watched him all through my adolescent/teenage/college days. An incredibly warm, intelligent, sensitive person. THe best in the biz, IMO.

I don't have tv now, but if I did, he's the guy I'd watch.

Gabby - I also have a hard time staying up for the whole show and usually don't make it. Here's how bad I have it - the next morning I got to cnn.com and read the transcript from last night's show to see what I missed. I need some professional help!

Ditto what KValley said. I watched him on KING TV 5 in Western Washington for many, many years. Great reporter then and I catch him every once in a while when the baby is up during the night (when he's on here in Hawaii).

I've tried to post something at the AB EZ board but have been banned so I'll make it brief here. Anything you read about The NewsNighters are all false with the exception of a minor misunderstanding which caused these rumors being spread across the internet about The NewsNighter. I for one thing do not go around posting bad things about other clubs. If there is a response back here about The NewsNighters I am kindly asking all of you to ignore.
