I walked out my front door today, it was74 degrees and the sun was shining so brightly through a few clouds and it was raining. It was like watching diamonds fall from the sky! I almost cried. I had to stop where I was and thank God right then and there for such a beautiful gift. Just wanted to share this with you guys 'cause I knew you all would appreciate it!:D

What a wonderful sight!

I woke up to a beautiful, sunny day... the first in what seems like weeks. We have been getting rain constantly for awhile now. (Not that I'm complaining because we really needed it this year). However, it sure makes you appreciate the sunshine!:D Thanks for sharing with us. May we all notice and appreciate the little gifts we are given every day.

Those moments are worth taking the time to enjoy. I always try to share them with the people around me also. :)

Hey Peggy,

Wasn't it great!!!!!
Sunshine all day!!!

I went outside, played with my poor lonely dog, planted a rose bush and my rosemary, and reveled in the warmth.
I still privately thank God for allowing my move to Redding and out of the SNOW. I much prefer the rain to SNOW. (My DH disagrees, he would rather work in the snow that the rain any day.)
Anyways, I just had to pipe in because the sun was truly wonderful.

Isn't it amazing how those moments are waiting for you, if you just keep your heart open? And isn't it sad how many people don't see them.

My office window faces west, and I often see splendid sunrises - and no one else notices. Yesterday, as the sun was near setting, a speck of rainbow was off on the horizon - a trick of refraction - and I had to call peoples' attention to it.

Someone said that our hands will be filled with blessings just as fast as we can accept them.

I guess 'accepting' is the key.

You need to enjoy beautiful moments all the time. I have pulled the car over onto the shoulder just to be able to gaze at a rainbow. Everyone else is whizzing by and not really noticiing what a gift is being offered.

Sitting on the patio in summer reading and having a butterfly rest on the edge of your book or on your shoulder. what a wonderful feeling, what a natural high. There are so many "moments" if we only take the time to notice.

Thanks for sharing.

I saw two beautiful gifts from God this week! Wednesday morning driving to work was the biggest rainbow I'd ever seen. It looked like it was arched over the whole city (Baltimore).
Then driving home Wednesday there were big, dark blue-gray clouds in the sky and with the sun shining from the other direction. Sea gulls were fly around and looked like glitter in the sky the way the sun was hitting them with the dark clouds as a back drop.
Very beautiful!
