How about shish-kabobs? That old chicken, beef or sausage is never the same when you skewer it http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif And you can be creative with vegetables and marinades...

We were just talking about tailgating ideas last night. We came up with Italian sausage hogies with tomato sauce and green peppers. We alos thought about some antipasto finger food like olives, havarti cheese wrapped with salami, pepperoncini, pickled vegetables, etc.
Lamb kabobs are one of my favorites. I like to make Taboleh (sp?) to go with them. The traditional recipe is mostly parsley and mint and very little Bulgur wheat. Its eaten wrapped in Romaine lettuce leaves.

How about Lamb kebabs? I was at Whole Foods a while back and they were sampling them - and they were fantastic - I bought pre-cut lamb chunks and made them at home using store bought garlic/rosemary marinade. Outstanding. So much so I just went back and bought some more lamb meat and will be making them again this weekend. Can't wait! Just a suggestion...

How about a bread bowl. You can eat thw whole thing and not worry about containers. What about morning tailgating.
I have my computer bookmarked to come directly to the bulletin boards. Today I went into cookinglight.com and found that they are doing a feature on tailgating. Check it out at http://www.cookinglight.com/articles/get_article.asp?aID=9292.
I didn't read it but I'm sure you will find some yummy ideas there.
