What goes with what

I like the bbq pork chops with the sauteed apples (March 2000)... they were paired together on the page. Plus a salad... makes a great meal very quickly.

I was browsing on the cookinglight web page and they have some great menu ideas.

I was wondering if you all had certain tried and true menues. Are there dishes that you always serve together? If so I would love your ideas.
