I need a new pair but I am not sure what kind to buy. I mostly work out on machines: precor, freerunner, treadmill. Do I buy walking shoes or cross-trainers or what?
Thanks.
Hey Jessica~
It's Diona, the excercize chic who also has a love for running shoes! The key to sneakers is understanding what the shoes are made of and what they are designed for. I would vote for a stability/cushion shoe. I think that a running shoes would be in your best interest. I'm not saying this because of my love but because they are practical.
If you want anymore advice from me, don't bother to email me. Joyfeet@yahoo.com Also, Runnersworld.com is excellent regarding shoes. Good luck!

I walk in Adidas running shoes and recently bought Nike"walking" shoes as a replacement. The walking shoes had no where near the cushion or support and actually gave me shinsplints. Running shoes are better made and provide a lot of cushion and support. Buying those darn Nike's was a $60 mistake.
