Does anyone know what to do with honey that is crystallized? Can I get it back to its original texture? It is from our grandparents' farm and is in a glass jar. Thanks.

Heat the honey in the microwave or by setting in a pot of water on the stove (medium/low heat). The honey will "melt" and be as good as new.

Can this be done repeatedly, in the same jar it comes in? Or should I take the amount of honey I intend to use out of the jar, and heat that up separately, each time I intend to use it?

In the winter my honey crystallizes. I scoop with a spoon the amount needed (more or less) and place in a small pyrex cup & microwave.

Sandy M-- I have a plastic container of honey that crystalizes often and I have heated it up many times. So far I haven't had any problems.
