I am hoping someone can help me find some old recipes from very early issues of CL I seem to have lost the magazines in a move. I believe two of them were in one of the earliest issues. I think they were in the column "Too busy to cook" but I'm not sure.
I do think the cover of that issue had a pizza with cherry tomatoes and an oat bran or oat flour crust on the cover. The recipes were both for chicken. One was marinated in yogurt and lime before grilling.
The other had fresh grated ginger and I think sesame seeds, a bit of soy sauce and possibly orange juice was in the marinade. It was also grilled. They were both in the same article. The other one I am looking for is newer than that, but older than 5 years ago. It was a dish which featured a fennel bulb and other vegetables cut up and cooked in a rolled up lasagne noodle. This does not appear in any of the issues indexed on the website. I know it is more than 5 years old. Hope someone can help

In all honesty, I was really hoping you'd get some answers. I checked what little I had, and unfortunately came up dry. Don't give up, though. Some people don't come around on weekends, others only drop by every once in a while. If you don't get any response after several days, you might want to send a message to CL itself. Hopefully someone on staff can track these down for you!

Good luck!

Sorry Nancy. I looked in my CL annuals, back to 1989 (1988 magazine recipes) and didn't find any of the 3. The closest I came was a Cumin-Yogurt Chicken, but it doesn't have lime in it. Have you asked CL yet? Good luck!

JeanneL,
Would you mind terribly posting that recipe for the Cumin-Yogurt chicken? I am interested in trying the sauce or marinade part of the recipe.
Thanks so much. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
