Kim.....I was just watching Martha Stewart's program and she had a guest, Steve Tyrell, who was interviewed and sang a couple of tunes. Have you heard of him? I loved his voice and songs and immediately went to half.com and order his CD, A New Standard. I can't wait to get it. Oh, and while there I also order, Jane Monheit's, [i]Never Neverland[i/] which I believe Heidi recommended. I'm in heaven with Diana Krall and can't wait to listen to Steve and Jane too! :)

Keep your suggestions coming! :D

I picked up Diana Krall's When I Look In Your Eyes last weekend (used) at Julie's suggestion; it's awesome! Thanks, Julie.

Oh, I also ordered Eddie From Ohio's Looking Out The Fishbowl and the soundtrack to O! Brother and I have to say that those weren't my cuppa. Toooo... twangy for me. EFO reminded me of the Statler Brothers (?), are they still around? If you're a fan, I've got the CD for sale used at Amazon... :o

Hi Sue! I'm answering 'cause you called for KValley (that's me!), but you wrote to Kim! Funny thing is, Grace confused me with Kim last week. KIM WORMANN- my alter ego- where are you??? :D :D :D

I've never heard of Steve Tyrell, but I'm headed over to the website to check him out- thank you!!

I was just thinking last night that it's been several weeks since I've ordered any new music- I've been laying low since stocking up on holiday tunes. It's time for a visit to my music club...

So glad you like Diana Krall. She's coming to Seattle for two dates later this spring, but of course they coincide with out-of-town business trips. I'm HEARTBROKEN!! I hope some of you have a chance to see her during this tour, but I will be so envious!!

Going shopping,

Julie

Julie, I did see that she had a couple of Portland dates at the Schnitz... not sure if you want to travel that far.

Lisa, I am so sad that you didn't like Eddie From Ohio! They are folky, but I don't find them "twangy" - to each her own, I guess. They are definitely unique.

I am sorry that you were disappointed! :o
