Can you believe I have never owned a piece of Tupperware. Anyhow, I stumbled across their website today and I am seriously thinking about remedying the situation - they have the neatest stuff. In particular, I am looking for a way of bringing salad dressing to work and they have these little containers called "smidgets" which I don't think they sell individually, but you can buy containers that have them attached.
They also offer this eParty thing - I am thinking about doing it. If I do, any of you want to "e-attend"?

Dorky as it may sound, I'd love to attend a Tupperware e-party. I too am in need of a few smidgets (for the salad dressing thing also!) and I want one of those cereal dispencers. Let me know the details!!

Okay, there is at least one person interested, so I am going to do it - nothing to lose. I'll post the info.

Well, I may be interested in atteneding an e-Party since I need some larger size containers to store left overs in. But, mainly I wanted to tell y'all what I do for taking salad dressing to work. I typically make my dressings with non-fat plain yogurt, and so I'll just make it in an individual sized container and then I can take that to work. Easy-peasy.

someone please let me know if this doesn't work - I might have to send you an individual invitation.
The e-party ends Feb 7, so order soon and be sure to post your recommendations.
Thanks, everyone! I truly wish I could have a real party that all of my BB friends could attend. You guys are the best!

Hey Cat! I am gonna join the eparty...but maybe we can do a REAL one at a Supper Club sometime? What do ya think?

p.s. my absolute fave is choc covered pretzels (except w/dark chocolate) so i am consciously not printing out the recipe from the other thread you posted because otherwise it would be a very sad state of affairs! but they sound divine

Ann - you make me laugh out loud.
Maybe one day I will have a real tupperware party and invite the supper club - I don't know if having all of our food would clash with the tupperware part (I have only been to a Pampered Chef party and I know that wouldn't work).
If you aren't going to make the pretzels, I will have to make them for you - I'll bring them along with the annual I promised you - one of these days :)

I'm probably gonna need a few more pieces myself, so I think I'm in! :D I have a lot of the spice jars, in both small and large. I bought one of those three-tier 'risers' for my cabinet and about 40 of those narrow plastic spice containers, and all of my Penzeys spices are within easy reach and look REALLY cool with the labels on the containers! Easier also to buy my spices in the bags from Penzeys. Cheaper too!

Oh wow - what a response. I feel kind of bad 'cause this is kind of self-serving, so forgive me. I just thought this would be fun.

Cat, I just might have to go for the spaghetti dispenser or the spoon rest. I don't get paid again until the 6th so I think I'll just make the deadline!

What a neat idea - I had no idea Tupperware did eParties. Anyway, I was hooked when I saw the pizza shaped Keep 'n Heat - hopefully it will put an end to our oddly shaped (and messy) foil packets of leftover homemade pizza in the fridge. :)
I have a recommendation - I own the MicroSteamer and I love it! It's just the perfect size for microwaving steamed veggies for two people.

I love tupperware! DH says I cannot order anymore until we build more cabinet space:mad: I sincerely credit weight watchers and Tupperware for a 30 pound weight loss 4 years ago! I found tupp. and begin taking my food with me everywhere! I have almost all of the rock and serve sets. They are so handy! Just vent and pop them into the mirco. No mess!

Catherine, I'm headed to your e-party now! I've been meaning to buy a few Tupperware items for a while, and it makes me feel good to know that someone else will benefit from my purchases too! :) Let us know what you get!

Thank you for giving me the kick in the pants I needed to replace my very old, falling-apart, badly-in-need-of-replacment lunch bag. I've been using the same one for the last 5 years, since I started teaching.
I ordered the lunch bag and a new 2-cup measuring cup (since DH used mine to measure Oxy Clean!).

I'm so excited. My first tupperware party is so far a success. I am so glad that I have provided an 'excuse' for shopping - I always love to have reasons to buy new stuff.
Right now I am thinking about the oval containers (which are on sale buy one get one free) and the forget me not container (to keep onions/tomatoes in the fridge. There are a ton of other things I want.
Anyhow, you guys are the best. Thanks for joining my eParty. I'll let you know how it all comes out.

I'm bumping this back up :)
Does anyone (Jewel??) know how big the spice containers are? I'm wanting to place an order to Penzeys, but wasn't sure what size containers to get. Are they about the size of the McCormicks (small and big), but different shapes? It seems like they may be bigger if they hold 1 cup and 1/2 cup...
Also, I'd really like to move all my spices to a drawer (instead of the really narrow cabinet next to the stove), but I wasn't sure how these would work. Could i just put them in the drawer flat (on their backs)? It seems like since they're oval, they wouldn't roll around. I also like the fact they they're plastic - major bonus with me since I break everything and we have ceramic tile
Oh - and how can you label them for Penzey's "specialty" spices (Foxpoint, etc)? Do they give you extra blank labels to write on? Is this a good excuse to finally get one of those cool label printer thingees??
Sigh...you guys are really trying to bankrupt me, aren't you???
Leightx
Just finished shopping!
I got 2 rock-n-serve containers, since they were recommended by a few BB'ers after I asked for help with my microwave rice -- these look like they might solve the problem.
I also got the microcooker for veggies, and the midgets, to bring salad dressing, fat-free sour cream, etc. to work for topping lunches.
Thanks so much Catharine! This was fun!
