can you freeze heavy cream?

I made have an extra pint of whipping cream that I'm not going to use anytime soon...can I freeze it to save for another time I want to make whipped cream?

I asked this once, and someone replied yes...they do it all the time :)

I know you can freeze whipped cream. However, I seem to recall reading that unwhipped cream (heavy or whipping) will not whip after being frozen.
