Vanilla Pork Chops

Just tried the Vanilla glazed pork chops from June,00, along with Mashed Potato casserole from C/L Make It Ahead and Creamed Spinach Gratin from Nov/Dec 97. Both the pork chops and the Mashed potatoes were excellent. The potatoes were richer than my "non-light" recipes. The creamed spinach is good, but makes far less in quantity than it is supposed to.

Thank you Joyce for posting this review! Not sure if you've followed the vanilla making thread but I'm currently trying my hand at making vanilla as Christmas gifts and wanted to include some vanilla recipes - I knew I'd seen one for a vanilla glazed pork recipe in recent issues. I'm so glad you liked it. I'll have to wait another month to try it (letting my vanilla age), but I'll definitely include it with my gift bottles.
