Hi All,
I tried two new recipies from Oct. issue, and thought I'd share.
I made the Pesto, Roasted Pepper pizza (not sure of exact name). It was wonderful! And easy and quick to make. I ended up adding a lot more mozzerralla than the 1/3 cup that was called for so it probably wasn't as light as it could have been, but it sure was good-my husband ate about 5 pieces!
I also made Christines Apple Torte from Oct for some guests and four of us ate half of the torte! It does not taste light at all and was wonderful! I did think it was a bit sweet though and may reduce the sugar next time, but it came out looking great and tasting great!
The only other thing for the torte-it leaked in the over a lot! Luckily I had the broiler pan in the oven and it caught the drippings, but it did make quite a mess!
