View Full Version : Update on my doggie paws
I wrote a few weeks back on my Wheaton Terrier who was chewing his little paws to pieces.
Wanted to let you all know that I had him at the vet, and she confirmed that he has inhalant allergies. She started him on a new medication that seems to be helping. It's not 100% effective, but much better then before.
Putting socks on all four feet with ace bandages every day was getting old and really looked silly:D :D

well, at least you have an answer to your problem. My dog has got scabs in her ears from shaking her head, she has a hot spot (now 2) on her leg and I just discovered last night that she has licked the fur almost off one side of her body by her hind legs. Something is making her itch. This is a dog that NEVER had allergies, been sick, been to the vet except for shots.
We're going back to the vet Friday.

I'm sorry to hear that your puppy is having problems, but I have not heard of hot spots during the wintertime. Let me know what happens, as I would like to hear what the outcome was.
Good luck!
