Okay everyone I am fessing up! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/redface.gif Sunday night I threw together dinner by making Zatarain's Jambalaya with Healthy Choice Turkey Sausage in it. As a side dish I bought prepackaged cole slaw which I mixed with light mayo, vinegar and a little sugar. While I was eating it I thought to myself, "This is pretty good for a quick, convenient meal." That got me to thinking about all you guys and wondering what kind of stuff like this do you use.

Some of my other favorites are grilled cheese sandwiches with Campbell's Home Cooking Vegetable Soup, Tombstone's Light Veggie Pizzas for One, other Zatarain mixes and a few Smart Ones.

What are yours?

Just in case you think my last "convenience item" post indicates that people on this board don't like convenience foods, check out this thread! I like to post these links so that the "oldies" on the board don't have to repost and so that you don't think that anyone is ignoring the poll! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I would definitely have to say bottled garlic. That way, your hands don't reek for three days!

Quick and easy... DiGorno fresh pastas. Especially their Tortellini and a can of crushed tomatoes, add a little fresh shredded parmesan and of course a little bottled minsed garlic. Made in minutes and pretty darn good.

To Emilycat:
Just thought I'd mention you can make you own much cheeper! Just mince a whole jar and cover with olive oil or vinegar. You will only reek once, and have saved a lot of money.
