Thought I'd share a wonderful 'find' I made tonight in Good Housekeeping's Oct. 2000 (sorry CL) issue....

They have the most wonderful combo of - and I'm quoting here - "22 delectable ways to savor the harvest". If you love veggies pick up the magazine. I was bowled over by the recipes.

I'll give you a sampling of a few of the (22)recipes:
* Acorn Squash w/ White Beans & Sage
* Harvest Mexican Soup
* Japanese Eggplant & Tofu Stir-fry
* Portobellos w/ Potato & Swiss Chard
* Stovetop Chili

All are vegetarian and they all look delicious. Just thought I'd share if there's anyone out there who's interested! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif I know I could plan a dinner party out of these recipes!!!

Thanks for the tip, Jeanne G! I'm going to look for this issue next time I'm at the store. The eggplant and tofu dish looks especially interesting.

Thanks for the tip Jeanne, I am always looking for new vegetarian recipes and am going to try the potato, portabello and swiss chard. YUM.
