Cider House Lamb Stew Oct 98

Has anyone tried the cider house lamn stew from Oct 98? I am looking for something reasonable simple with good show and taste appeal. THanks!

I made this recently. I used beef instead of lamb as I don't like lamb. I loved using the cider for the marinade, the meat was sooo tender. The stew was good, but not great, kind of sweet. A 1998 recipe that I made recently was the Chicken Cassoulet - I think from Oct. or maybe Sept. of 1998. It was GREAT. I recommend using more acorn squash.
