Anybody else having problems with @comcast in Maryland?They are in the "transition" stage but its a problem EVERY DAY. Today no email, then the front page takes so long to download. It is totally frustrating! Well I vented feel better now

Nope - but I have had the odd ISP problem before so I know how frustrating it is! Just wanted to say

We went through it almost a month ago, Vanessa. This transition was handled so poorly from the beginning, and it's extremely frustrating.

We did finally get help, but it was after many hours spent on hold, and many frustrating conversations with inept "assistants" at Comcast.

I called one evening at 9:00 pm to try to get my e-mail up and running, after having been down for nearly a month. A woman finally answered my call. When I'd ask her a question, she'd put me on hold and obviously go ask someone else for help. This happened repeatedly. After a half hour of no assistance whatsoever, she said "I'm sorry, I can't help you - you'll have to call back tomorrow." To which I replied "And go through this again??? I don't think so. Please put me in touch with whomever you were talking to." He came on the phone, apologized profusely, and my e-mail was working within 5 minutes.

Extremely frustrating, but it will get better - with persistence, and patience.
