I'm brand new to posting, but since I have gotten a few recipes off this board already, I figured I would go ahead and share one of my favorites. It couldn't be easier to put together and it totally cooks itself. I've made it countless times for guests and everyone seems to enjoy it...
Pot Roast
One four-pound pot roast of beef
one 14 ounce bottle catsup
one 12-ounce can warm beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
two teaspoons marjoram
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place roast in pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cover tightly and bake three hours.
That's it! I usually slice it and pour some sauce over it before serving. I've also been known to turn it once half-way through the baking time, but I'm not even sure this is necessary.
