Extra! Extra! Cooking Light Supper Clubs go international!!

Our Toronto Supper Club met last night for its second event. Another smashing success!
We had:
Spanish Toast - good reviews all around. The salt added a nice touch.
Simplest Green Salad - you could taste the salt a bit, but I wasn't too impressed by it. I don't know about everyone else, but I think this wasn't a big winner.
Ravioli - good! Impressive for company and attractive-looking. Wonton wrappers were a big hit. I would add more seasonings, but others liked it fine as is.
Squash Souffle - delicious. I think everyone would make this one again. I know I would. It was creamy and slightly sweet. The chef baked it 10 minutes more than directed in the recipe, and it turned out perfectly.
Christine's Apple Torte - another big winner. I believe we would all make this again too.

Thanks to the other members of the Toronto Supper Club for the great company and good food. I'm looking forward to our next supper.
