Ya know when your life is so busy and stressful that you KNOW you need to exercise but your body just wants to get work done and rest??? (I know, I know, most of you DONT know that). ANyway, today I got back on the bandwagon (so to speak). I continued to do the work I needed, but everytime there was a commercial, I hopped on my step. Now I am sweaty and happy and craving a shower (but my hour of commercials arent up yet...):D

Hey, good for you!

I know there are times when I don't feel like working out. But it never fails that when I do, I feel ten times better afterwards.

Congratulations on getting back on the wagon, and I hope you stay on track for a while!

Hopefully this will inspire me to go for a run after my eye doctor appointment tonight. Whenever anything unusual comes up, it throws off my routine. More often than not it's an excuse not to exercise.

I resolve to not do that today, in honor of your post!

Hey Kim!!
I have been thinking about you!!
Sometimes it is hard to find the motivation to exercise- but I always feel better after (okay my knees feel worse but my spirit soars).
When my girls were little running was my salvation- I used it for my "me" time and its amazing how many problems you can solve and how many great meals you can plan. Sure hope things are well with you!

I totally applaud you - I HATE working out more than anything else in the world so I totally understand the urge to NOT work out - and I give in to it all the time. I am not one of those people that feels better after excerise - I hate every second of it, I feel awful afterward, I hate the feeling sweaty part, etc. so you get big kudos from me!

Wow,

Tonight I did almost the same thing... but I'm dancing to oldies on the radio while I do my nightly chores... Gotta go.. Bob Segar's on!

Just for closure's sake (because I know you were on pins and needles), I did not run last night.

However, I managed to drag my butt out of bed this morning and go to the gym instead. Friday is normally a day of rest, so it made up for the flaking last night.

There. You can resume your normal lives how. :D

Same with me. My girls are little and until I had them I worked out but didn't enjoy it. Now that I'm a SAHM I really enjoy my time alone exercising. Once DH comes home from work I shut my bedroom door and jam to an exercise video or run on the treadmill. It's great stress therapy!
