Hi everyone! I just joined and wanted to share with you that I tried the Beef Picadillo from last month's issue last night and it was awesome. Really great flavors, not too too bad in the chopping department.

I'm a huge Cooking Light fan, I have every issue since 1994 (although I'm finally throwing in the towel to get the annual recipe issues and save space) and I cook from the magazine at least four times a week. I have rarely met a recipe I didn't like.

The Picadillo was a big hit at my house too. A definite repeater. My husband especially liked it because it tastes just as good as leftovers -- almost always, his lunch consists of leftovers!

Welcome, Donna! You're right on regarding CL's recipes; OK, every once in a while there's a dud. We use the magazine just as often.
And I'll also endorse the picadillo, both hot off the stove and as a leftover!
