It's not fair. I just received my October issue last week. Since the BB is working again go ahead and whet our appetites.

don't mean to steal your thunder, Mandy, but I got the Nov. issue as well and thought I'd put in my two cents http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
There are some great soup recipes (Canadian Cheddar with Pumpernickel Croutons is one) and the reader recipes look good -Bean Burritos and Eggplant Bake (typical but easy!). I was surprised by the Cooking Class- the breads were quick breads, not yeast as I was expecting. White chocolate and apricot muffins, coffee nut scones are on my to make list.
And of course, lots of turkey and Thanksgiving recipes! There are some Espresso Cream Puffs that look tasty....
this is the earliest I've gotten it in the mail- what a nice surprise!

Oh, and on the cover were these pecan tartlets that looked awesome - pecans were the "in season" column of the month.

Another thing you will find is a great article and recipes on Root Vegetables. I was also interested in a Jamaican Chicken Stew & Squash-Rice Casserole. And there are lots of things to make with Thanksgiving coming up! Stacey Strawn is even pictured w/ her mom and gives a yummy looking recipe for a Cranberry Salad.

I got mine on Saturday and those pecan tartlets look fabulous! No time to try much this week, but I'll look through it again this weekend....

I don't have the issue here at work, but there seemed to be a lot of really yummy desserts, an article on butterscoth, a bunch of yummy breads, some great turkey recipes, and the list goes on..... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

I just rec'd my Nov issue today, haven't had time to read it yet just scanned through it. I think I'll try some of the biscotti's, they sound interesting, and I love biscotti with my starbucks!
