Still waiting for March CL....
Does it arrive later in Canada? I know I am in a different time zone than most of you but this is too much!! :D :D
I really want to try the watercress goat cheese pasta tonight!
If any one has this and is not to difficult to post I would appreciate it!

I can sympathize with you. I still don't have mine either. I think I might cave in and just go buy one at the grocery store. I want to make that Olive Bread this weekend!
Hope your mag comes soon!

I just got mine yesterday

I haven't received mine yet either. I couldn't stand it so I ended up buying one last week. If you don't get it today, go to the CL homepage and find subscription information. They ask that you contact them only if you haven't received your CL by the 7th so....

Sue, I can sympathise... I'm from New Brunswick, and my CL always used to come late (I'd call them, then would end up with 2 issues! ). So I'll have mercy on you - here's the recipe.
Pasta with Watercress, Tomatoes, and Goat Cheese
3 cups uncooked tubetti (about 12 oz short dry tubular pasta)
4 cups halved cherry tomatoes
4 cups chopped trimmed watercress (about 8 oz)
1 cup goat cheese, crumbled (4 oz)
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain. Place pasta in a large bowl. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients; toss well to coat. Serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings (serving size: 2 cups).

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and
thanks clarab for posting the recipe!
I'll hold off buying a copy for now but if not here by
Friday - I might break down and get one ...

This won't make you feel any better but although I've been an avid CL reader for many years, I don't subscribe and never will again. It appears on the newstands weeks and weeks before it shows up in the mail. I don't think Canadian distributing is the problem because many US BB'ers get theirs even later than some of the Canadian subscribers.
Greetings from the valley!

Me either, and I live in Birmingham, headquarters to the publishers...:(

I finally got my March CL issue on Monday this week. Funny thing is I got my April Bon Appetit issue yesterday!

Since I posted a similar thread last week... I'll mention mine came Wednesday. It was there waiting for me when I got home. The funny part was that after hearing my complaints for over a week, my fiance went and bought it for me on his lunch break and came home with it that night!
So I guess it's like this: If you buy it, it will come.......
(He still gets points for thinking to do this....)

I feel like a broken record when it comes to this subject. Still no magazine here!
I don't even visit the Great Food boards very much anymore because it is seriously discouraging that people are already getting the next month's issue before I've even gotten the current month's (i.e., people getting April before I've gotten March). Its hard to particpate in recipe reviews when you don't even have a magazine to cook out of.
I'm not going to be renewing my subscription this year. Maybe when we finally move back to the mainland I might give them another shot, but not while we live here.

I live in Calif. and just received my copy a couple of days ago. I saw it in my grocery store several days prior to receiving it. That seems odd to me, but I will deal with it since it is cheaper to subscribe than to purchase at the store. But other magazines I get arrive in my mailbox before they are on the stands. Maybe CL mails them out in batches. I guess we just get impatient when we read on the boards all about the current issue. With Consumer Reports, or whatever, I am not reading on BB that people have received their issues and what they think about it!
