Has anyone tried the Albondigas Soup in the October 2000 issue? What'd you think? I was thinking about making it for dinner tomorrow night?

Nydia, this is the same message I e-mailed you; I'm just posting it here for the benefit of others now that the BBs are back up & working.
I just made it tonight & we found it quite enjoyable. The recipe is slightly misleading: The broth is spicy with regard to its complexity, not hot spicy. Also, it doesn't take that long to make, though it suggests two cooks! It took me just over an hour from start to finish, but I was moving at a rather leisurely pace.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it; the flavors blend wonderfully.

I made this soup last night and it was fantastic! I did, however, substitute the 1/2 cup of water the recipe called for with a small can of Rotel tomatoes. I tend to like my food hot-spicy and I've noticed that many CL dishes just don't quite have enough "kick" for me, so I have started adding more spice to them.
