Simce I'm still waiting for my November issue, I thought I would go back to October, 1999 and try some recipes I overlooked last year. Last night I made Hunter's Chicken -- really delicious and easy. This morning I put together a crock pot dish, Chicken in White Wine sauce -- it smelled delicious at lunchtime. Can't wait for dinner!

And the chicken in white wine sauce (a crockpot recipe) was delicious. So, another thumbs up.

Gail-
Is this the Chicken Cacciatore recipe you are talking about? Soemone posted this on the BB awhile ago and I've plan on giving it a try.
Chicken Cacciatore
Per serving only 3g of fat, 300 cals, 45g of protein, 25g of carbs.
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 6-ounce cans of tomato paste
8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup water
Put sliced onion in bottom of Crock-Pot. Add chicken pieces. Stir together tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, pepper, garlic, herbs, white wine and water. Spread over chicken. Cover, cook on low 7-9 hours or high 3-4 hours. Serve chicken pieces over hot spaghetti or vermicelli. 4 servings and completely yummie
