Just wanted to post a review of this - we had this for dinner yesterday, and I just have to say that it was the best, easiest turkey I have ever cooked!!!

We set it up Saturday night before bed, since our dinner guests were coming over Sunday noon, and let it go all night. DH couldn't really even carve the meat because it just fell off the bone.

Thanks so much for posting this recipe - it will definitely be a repeater!!

Last week I wanted something like this, but was in a big hurry. I took a 2.5 pound bag of frozen chicken breasts, sprinkled on the onion soup mix, poured in a can of fat-free turkey gravy (I didn't have any cranberry sauce), and a little Worcestershire sauce. I found some dried sweet cranberries in the pantry and threw that in with some salt and pepper. It turned out very similar, and quite tasty also.
