I did a search and didn't come up with a review so I thought I would share my results! :D

These were...okay. They had a beautiful presentation with the white of the goat cheese and the roasted tomato on top, and I sprinkled a little Chervil over all for extra color.

But, I found I didn't care for the taste of the roasted garlic/goat cheese mixture. Actually, I think it was mostly the goat cheese. Texture was odd on my tongue and I couldn't eat more than two.

DH thought they were also just okay (as he ate the rest of them!).

I won't be making these again. :(

Thanks for the review. I'm taking these off my list. I had my doubts about these, and now you've confirmed them. There's so many great recipes out there, I don't want to take my chances with a bad one.

We just made this appetizer at my last Supper Club dinner and we loved it!! Several in our group didn't have a lot of experience with goat cheese so I think they were slightly apprehensive about trying these. It was easy to make but a bit time consuming because of the oven time for roasting the tomatoes and garlic. The end result was wonderful and everyone liked them. Fantastic flavors with the slight tang of the tomatoes and goat cheese blended with the mellow taste of roasted garlic. The only negative was the low curb appeal of some of the roasted tomatoes, but their flavor was good. I never would have thought to try this on my own, but now I would not hesitate to make it again.
