I have a recipe that I have used for years for boiling shrimp. The recipe calls for one Zataran's seafood boil bag, salt, one onion, a few stalks of celery, garlic cloves, 2 lemons. The last time I used this recipe the shrimp were hard to peel. What could I be doing wrong?

Where did you purchase the shrimp? If you bought it fresh, is it possible it was frozen before it got to the display counter at the store??? I'm pretty sure a good many grocery stores sell shrimp "previously frozen". I usually buy the 2-pound bags of individually frozen shrimp...but the RAW kind. They also sell it already cooked. I figure that if it's already cooked, cooking it a second time would almost guarantee it's going to be tough.
