I would like to try the recipe - Green Tea Honey Cake (March 2002, pg 184) but I'm not sure what green tea powder is. Do I just use regular tea bags?? Help!!

Asian stores sell green tea powder, which is traditionally used in the ceremonial tea drinking/presentation.

it is a very fine, dust like almost, powder.....

hi!
i made the cake and loved the taste but not the texture- please let me know how yours turns out and what you think. i used regular green tea in bags and ground it with my morter and pestle (sp?- i just had 2 guinness with my guinness stew and guinness bread- god love the irish!)
