Since it is the season for pumpkin, I thought I'd share a review for this recipe I tried tonight. Very good! Of course with pumpkin, oats and pecans, how can you go wrong??? One note - in place of the 1 tsp. of pumpkin-pie spice which I don't have, I used 1/4 tsp. allspice, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Thank you for bringing this recipe to my attention. We are having company this weekend and it will be the perfect addition to my Sunday morning brunch! A great fall coffeecake.

I did make this recipe this weekend and it was delicious! I would highly recommend it. It tastes like pumpkin bread.

That sounds so good. Thanks for the suggestion!
I just printed it out and I will be making it to surprise my coworkers.

The weather has been great all weekend and I've been cooking up a storm. I made this for dessert tonight and we thought it was really good. I didn't have pumpkin pie spice either, so I used 1/2 t. cinnamon, 1/4 t. allspice, and 1/4 t. mace. I also added a teaspoon of my homemade vanilla (made with rum).
I found another pumpkin cake I liked about that time and may have overlooked this one. I think I'll have to try the oatmeal in this one too. Pumpkin is starting to sound very appealing.
