View Full Version : Turkey Soup - need some help

I made Miss Molli's Crockpot Turkey a couple of weeks ago. I knew that it would be a while before I got to the leftovers, so I put them in the freezer.

Well, tomorrow is the day that we have Turkey Soup "scheduled" and I am not really sure how to proceed. While we were at the store, I picked up some frozen mixed veggies, and I have carrots, broccoli, and onion in the fridge as well.

I also have a number of different shapes of pasta, and so it seems like I've got the basics here. Does anyone have any other suggestions for me or should I just add some water to make it a little more "soupy" and cook til done?

I'd add water and a can of chicken broth. Maybe some corn? Or cooked wild rice and fat free condensed milk? You could go a couple of different ways with this. I'd just do a broth soup, veggies, corn and fun pasta shapes, serve with salad and bread.
