I am looking for a good Italian dish that does not involve pasta and bread. Trying to cut the carbs but still want that good sauce. Any suggestions?

"That good sauce?" Meaning what? The thick, garlicky tomato sauce? If so, try chicken or eggplant parmigiana.

Otherwise, there are millions of WON-derful Italian dishes out there with other sauces-- way too numerous to list. Veal, chicken or pork marsala come to mind; cacciatore (I like CL's version); veal or chicken saltimbocca; veal scallopine... I'll let someone else pick up from here.

How about making your favorite sauce and put it over a piece of grilled meat or fish instead of pasta?
