View Full Version : Advice: How to reheat an apple crisp
I made the maple apple crisp on Sunday and want to serve it warm tonight.
Should I cover it to reheat it? What oven Temp? Will it cook more?
Thanks for any input you have on this.
i made the same one a couple of weeks ago and since we like the topping to stay really crispy, i re-heated it in the oven on the same temp. it was cooked on or 50 degrees higher. sorry i can't remember exactly. just watch the top and if it starts getting too brown, cover it. mine worked fine and i usually do this for other crisps too.

I reheated mine in the microwave, and it was fine. If you are going the oven route, I would suggest 250 degrees or less for 10-15 minutes (but that depends on how much you have)

I usually use the microwave to warm up apple crisp, too. Much faster than the oven.
