...before Imagestation went down the first time, PLEASE repost the links to your Imagestation album! I missed most of that thread while my computer was on a moving truck and now I can't see a lot of the photos. :(

Eva, if I try to go back and 'edit' that post where one of my photos used to be, it won't let me edit it because it's been over 1400 hours or something. :rolleyes: I guess it's too late! We can either add new posts to that thread or try to do it here...since that thread is getting too long to download easily, should we start doing more photos on this thread?

What do you guys think about creating a CL album on Imagestation? Not quite sure how to do it, but maybe someone could create the album, and post the login/password here? Of course, then we would have to watch for weirdos posting inappropriate pictures (or MKSquared posting pictures of her infamous jewelry :D ).

Just an idea...just trying to come up with something a little more permanent than the thread.

I'm not sure if it would work too well having one big album at Imagestation. I have a hard time adding photos to the album I've got! I think it's a size issue. :rolleyes:

Here's an idea: We spent a lot of that first thread trying to find ways to load the photos. A lot of posts/space was 'wasted' without posting photos. How 'bout we start putting photos on this thread. Move them over from the other thread, photos only. If you can't get into your post to edit and retreive the URL (like me) just re-post your photo from imagestation onto this one! That way we'll have a cleaner thread with mostly photos since we all (??) seem to know how to do it now. Game? I'll go find mine...may have to change a photo, my Bedrock photo seems to be gone! :eek:

I went ahead and created an account in yahoo so we could create an album.

Now I'm worried about what Jewel said about the size limitation. The Yahoo photo album limits you to 30 meg. Depends on how big everyone's pics are.

OK, looks like imagestation pooped on a few of my photos when it crashed! :mad: I've managed to retrieve a few...my newer ones are gone! Here is my wedding photo in 1999. I'm the one in the dress. The one with the sweat on his brow is Dave. ;)

Right click on your picture at the Imagestation website, click on Properties, and copy the URL. Then, when you're posting your reply here, click the "IMG" button above the message box and paste the URL. Or you can just put IMG in front of your URL and /IMG afterwards (but they need to be bracketed - I can't do it here or it thinks I'm trying to post a graphic). If you click QUOTE on this post of mine (or anyone else who's posted a photo here), it'll show you what I've done.

This is the real picture, and was taken at Christmas with the whole family (Back row: DH, DSIL, DD1, DGS, DD2, DS; Front: DDog, ME). This picture is somewhere between what I think I look like and what I actually look like.

DD2 wishes to add the disclaimer that she wasn't feeling well that day, and it's a terrible picture of her. She says she's really much cuter. (She really is—and I'm not biased in the least :p )

I tried to lift the jpg url out of my previous post (by clicking on quote), but that didn't work. I had to go back to the original picture on imagestation, double click on it, then use the right click (actually, since I have a mac, I had to do control click) to get the proper url. I think Eva's (aggie94) directions above will work for a PC. On the mac all I got was a menu that let me "copy to clipboard." Then I was able to paste it in my reply and bracket it with the image codes. I also found I had an extra extension "orig.jpg" after the jpg at the end of the url (jpg.orig.jpg). I had to remove that to get it to work. don't forget to remove the period after jpg if there is one.
