Just Herbs....where are they?

I have just read all the threads about how to make my own vanilla extract. I'm ready to give it a shot.

How do I get ahold of Just Herbs?

I have a Penzy's catalog. I may do a comparison and see the difference.

From what I've read, it sounds like vodka (even the cheap kind) is the way to go over rum.

Does it really take a year?

No, it only takes a year if you listen to "Martha". :D I usually can use a new bottle after only a month or 6 weeks. My mixture consists of 2 Just Herbs vanilla beans and a cheap 375 ml-size bottle of Smirnoff Vodka.

Just Herbs is a small business. They have a one-sheet order list that I've picked up at a holiday craft show in the past. Their website is tiny...sorry, I can never remember the address because there's really nothing on it very much.

They're tollfree number is 888-594-3727...
They're in Big Stone Gap, Virginia (or something like that.)
