Hi all...I'm sure I missed you guys more than I was missed....but I'm just sooooooooooooo glad to be back.
The vacation motorcycle trip was fun---but DH thinks riding at 9:30PM doing hair-pin turns on roads he's never seen is a FUN THING! aaaaand last night, as we were heading back towards wisconsin from Indiana, the winds picked up and we hit that terrible storm in Illinois....DH thinks it's fun to ride through pouring rain, while lightening is missing you and the winds are gusting at 40-60 miles an hour.....(I'm sure DH didn't think it was fun, he just makes up his mind when he wants to be home and doesn't care how or how long it takes to get there  )other than that, it was fun to see a part of the country I haven't seen before...
My retirement options are more open :D :D

Glad you're back safe and sound. Can't wait to hear all about it. Did you get to go to the Le Creuset outlet?

Le Creuset outlet saved my trip!!
I purchased the small roaster (like lasagna pan) in the traditional blue to match DH's blue set (yes...I already have a red, but soooo what!!) and I purchased a 6-1/2 quart oval in citrus yellow (what will I use it for???? Any suggestions...this thing didn't look so big in the store), a round 3-1/2 quart in citrus yellow (don't have any yellow and it's cute!), the screwpull wine decorker in clear deep blue, a handful of colored spatulas in different shapes and sizes (they're good to 1000 degrees F. now!!) and a 9x9 earthenware piece (I tried finding a 9x9 in pyrex, but no luck)in red.....then I went to the crate&Barrel outlet...it's a good thing they ship stuff!!!! Needless to say, I'd be more than happy to relocate near this outlet (dawsonville) and call it home :D :o )

I still don't understand why DH prefers motorcycling to the comfort of an air-conditioned/climate-controlled auto, but who am I ??!!!!

Stayed with my brother and sister in law and they have AMAZING homes...so it was a treat to stay and be "pampered" and feel like I was in a glorious hotel...almost made up for the cycle ride. I never pictured Georgia to be so beautiful....and I loved Virginia a lot. All the states we passed through were pretty (though I did get to see the best of some states than others due to how his path plan followed)...
No exciting food to report except for fresh caught trout, which was yummy....I sliced up onions and poured a little white wine over it; covered it with foil and steam/baked it...tender as could be and light!
lots of catching up on the BB......and mail...:(
